ORLANDO - Sun Devil Women's Golf senior Ashley Menne has been named an All-American by a second national publication following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.
Both the coaches and media agree that Sun Devil Women's Golf's Ashley Menne is an All-American. After being named a Honorable Mention All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) earlier in the offseason, the leading national collegiate golf publication Golfweek has also tabbed her as a Honorable Mention All-American.
GOLFWEEK HONORABLE MENTION ALL-AMERICAN
Menne was one of only 20 female collegiate golfers at the Division I level to earn this prestigious honor. This is her second time earning Honorable Mention recognition, previously being awarded a spot on the team following the 2022 season. In 2023, she landed on the Third Team.

COACH'S CORNER
"We are thrilled with Ashley receiving another All-American honor," Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye remarked. "It really is an amazing accomplishment. Ashley has been an integral part of our team and continued to step up as a leader. I'm excited to see what Ashley has in store as she begins her professional career."
STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE
"This season has been a great experience overall," Ashley Menne reflected. "I couldn't have asked for a better team to go through this year with. Being selected as an All-American by Golfweek is such an honor. My golf has come a long way since coming to Arizona State and I am excited for the future!"
2024 SEASON
The Surprise, Arizona native continued her steady development since arriving at ASU, as she becomes one of the most decorated golfers at the collegiate level. Menne earned WGCA and Golfweek Honorable Mention All-American honors thanks to an outstanding senior season in which she competed against and beat some of the top golfers in the nation. In leading Arizona State to a NCAA Championship appearance and a final ranking of No. 15 nationally, Menne was extremely consistent throughout the campaign. She shot 21 rounds of par or better, including eight rounds in the 60s. This resulted in five Top-10 and seven Top-20 finishes.
Arizona State (-42/822) won the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational team championship while Ashley Menne claimed the individual title, both in record-breaking fashion. Menne now has the best 54-hole score vs. par in the history of Sun Devil Women's Golf, breaking Brandie Burton's 35-year-old record. Menne is one of only 60 golfers in NCAA history to finish a 54-hole tournament at 14-under or better. It was the second-best score posted by a Pac-12 golfer this season. For her efforts, she was awarded Pac-12 Golfer of the Week for the second time in her career. She capped a decorated career with a 18th place finish at the NCAA Championship. Thanks to her outstanding play, she earned a spot on two All-American teams and the Pac-12 All-Conference First Team.

WGCA ALL-AMERICAN
Golfweek is the second publication to give Ashley Menne All-American distinction. Earlier in the offseason, the WGCA (Women's Golf Coaches Association) tabbed Menne as an All-American for the fourth time in her career, as she received a spot on the Honorable Mention team. The team is voted on by coaches from around the country, an indication of the respect the rest of the women's college golf world has for Menne's accomplishments.
FOUR-TIME ALL-AMERICAN
By virtue of her selection to the WGCA All-American Honorable Mention Team earlier in the offseason, Ashley Menne has now been named an All-American in each of her four seasons in Tempe. She becomes the first Sun Devil since Olivia Mehaffey (2017-21) to earn All-American honors in all four years. Menne joins some exclusive company by earning a fourth All-American distinction. She is only the fourth four-time All-American in program history. Only legendary figures Olivia Mehaffey, Azahara Munoz (2006-09) and Kellee Booth (1995-98) have accomplished this impressive feat.

PAC-12 ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
Arizona State landed a pair of individuals on the Pac-12 All-Conference teams, the fourth consecutive year that two Sun Devils have received All-Conference distinction. The respect for the Maroon & Gold is clear, as this distinction is voted on by the other coaches in the league. Ashley Menne was one of only 12 golfers named to the First Team in arguably the deepest conference in the country. The program has now had at least one representative on the Fiirst Team every year since 2005. This is the second consecutive year that Menne landed on the First Team.
Menne has been an All-Conference honoree each of her four seasons in Tempe (2x Honorable Mention; 2x First Team). She becomes the first four-time All-Conference member since Olivia Mehaffey (2017-21) and only the eighth in program history to accomplish the feat. Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye has coached four of the eight (Monica Vaughn, Jennifer Osborn).
AUGUSTA NATIONAL WOMEN'S AMATEUR
Menne accepted an invitation to return to the Augusta National Women's Amateur. The 2023 edition once again gave female amateur golfers the opportunity to play the iconic Augusta National Golf Course. This was the second consecutive year Menne had qualified for this prestigious event, doing so based on her standing in the United States amateur rankings. It was her third overall appearance at the ANWA, as she continues to emerge as one of the top female amateurs in the World.
FINAL RANKINGS
Clipp'd released their final rankings of the 2023-24 collegiate women's golf season. Ashley Menne is the highest ranked Sun Devil, finishing at No. 35 in the latest poll. She moved up five spots thanks to her performance at the NCAA Championship. This is the third-straight year Menne has finished in the Top-40 of the national rankings.
