QUOTES OF THE GAME

Head Coach Zeke Jones
On what the team needs to do to prepare for the postseason:

"The first answer is the easy one and that's just to get better at wrestling, right. We have to get better at wrestling. The training cycle… we're four or five weeks from the conference (tournament), 50-some days from the NCAA tournament. So, we have to continue to work in specific areas for specific guys. Richie's (Figueroa) got certain things, Julian's (Chlebove) got certain things. (Kyle) Parco has got certain things, even Jacori (Teemer) has certain things. So, we just have to individually work at the things we need to get better at and I think that will get us ready for the postseason."

Redshirt Junior Kyle Parco:
On getting win 100 on Friday and 101 today:

"I think it just validates my career as a veteran. Getting your hand raised 100 times is something that I never really thought about. But, if you told me when I was a kid that I would get 100 in college, I wouldn't believe it. I'm really happy, but I want to build off of that."

Freshman Nicco Ruiz
On the Top-15 victory:

"I was watching some of his film and a lot of his attacks were re-attacks. What I know is if I go upper - I went high-crotch - I was able to bring him down. I knew if I was able to get to that, he wasn't going to be able to go down and hit front-hand lock on the re-attack. Then the end, that's a little bit of a scramble. I was trying to get my heel down but I just couldn't. But I knew he didn't have a great offense, it was just re-shots."
