TEMPE – The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, was released this week. Meighan Farrell, Grace Gillard, Lucy Johnson, Keri Matthews, Pauline Nelles and Cameron Valladares from Sun Devil Soccer were each named to the team.
Sun Devil Soccer has now had 31 Academic All-District® recipients in its history, with the group being honored 52 times. This season's six selections are the team record for one season and the maximum allowed under the current award format.
This is the second consecutive season that Nelles has been named to the Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team. She becomes the 15th Sun Devil to make the team on multiple occasions.
Gillard and Valladares are also making the team for the second time, having been selected last season at their previous institutions.
The honor is the first for Farrell, Johnson and Matthews.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 11.
