Sun Devil Triathlon will be represented by five student-athletes and one alum at the 2024 World Triathlon Championships in Torremolinos, Spain October 17-20.
In the Juniors race, Sidney Clement (Canada), Zoe Mari Adam (Puerto Rico), and Britney Brown (USU) are the competing Sun Devils. Naomi Ruff, Faith Dasso, and Liberty Ricca will all represent the USA in the U23 event.
The group will depart from Springfield, Missouri after the West Regionals this weekend.
Ruff most recently took home first place at the Battle in the Fort hosted by TCU in September, picking up that title for the second straight season. She was the first finisher for ASU in the 2023 National Championship after placing second overall (1:03:32).
Clement followed Ruff at the Battle in the Fort and earned a podium finish after crossing the finish line in third place with her time of 1:03:10.
The rest of the group led ASU to their second place finish at the Battle in the Fort.
Liberty Ricca is the alumni in the bunch, who most recently placed second in the 2022 National Championship her senior year while she was captain.
