TEMPE – Sun Devil Soccer will play its final road game of the regular season on Sunday when it faces No. 12 TCU at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The action will begin at 11 a.m. AZT.

Arizona State will enter the game at 7-4-3 overall and 2-2-1 in road games. They have gone 2-4-1 in Big 12 play, where they sit tied for 10th in the conference table with an average of 1.00 points per game. The Sun Devils' recent form has them at 1-3-1 over the past five games.

ASU ranks 66th in the NCAA by scoring 1.93 goals per game on the season, and they have scored multiple goals in a game seven times. They take 14.71 shots per outing, with 45.6 percent of those attempts on goal.

The opposition averages 1.21 goals per game while taking 11.6 shots per outing. ASU stops 77.6 percent of shots on goal and has five shutouts.

Kierra Blundell has scored a team-high eight goals and is third in the Big 12 with 20 points. Enasia Colon has added six goals and a team-high six assists for 18 points. Cameron Valladares also has six goals.

Pauline Nelles holds a 1.21 goals-against-average and .776 save percentage in goal.

The Sun Devils opened this road trip with a 4-0 loss at Baylor on Thursday. ASU fell behind in the 11th minute and never recovered in losing consecutive games for the first time this season.

Series Notes
ASU has split its two all-time meetings with TCU, with each team winning on the road. This will be the first meeting since the 2008 season when the Horned Frogs won in Tempe. The Sun Devils won on the road during the 2007 season.

About TCU
The Horned Frogs are 10-2-2- overall and tied atop the Big 12 table with a 5-0-2 record and averaging 2.43 points per game. They are 6-0-1 at home this season.

Seven Castain leads TCU with nine goals and 21 points while Bella Diorio and Caroline Kelly each have six goals and two assists. Megan Plaschko has played the majority of minutes in goal with a 1.00 GAA and a .742 save percentage.

Number 900
The goal by Kierra Blundell against West Virginia on Sept. 26 was the 900th scored by the Sun Devils in the program's 29-year history. Those 900 goals were scored by 140 different players.

Twice is Nice
Behind a 7-0 record this season when scoring at least two goals, ASU is now 207-13-12 (.918) in program history when scoring multiple goals in a game. In addition, the team is 129-1-1 (.989) when scoring three-plus and 71-0 when scoring at least four goals.

Brace for Success
ASU has already set the program record with five different players posting a multi-goal game this season. Kierra Blundell had the team's first hat trick since 2022, while Enasia Colon has twice scored two goals in a game. Megan Sofield, Cameron Valladares, and Keri Matthews each have also recorded a brace this season.

Freshman Phenom
Kierra Blundell leads ASU with eight goals after scoring in two of the last four games. Her 20 points are third in the Big 12 and 34th nationally. Blundell ranks third in the country among freshmen in goals and points.

Blundell currently ranks ninth in ASU history for goals by a freshman. Stacey Tullock holds the record with 13 goals in 1998. Six players tallied at least 10 goals during their freshman campaign in Tempe.

Colon Climbs
With six total goals on the season, Enasia Colon has moved into 13th in program history with 49 points and 17 goals in her ASU career. She needs three goals to become the 12th player in team history to score 20 career goals.

Colon also ranks in the ASU top 20 in shots, shots on goal, shot percentage, and average goals, assists, and points per game.

Clutch Cam
Cameron Valladares has posted a career-high six goals and is third in the team with 15 points. She enters Sunday with a goal in two of the past three games.

Four of the goals scored by Valladares this season are game-winners, including her goal with 25 seconds remaining to defeat Utah Tech on Sept. 8. She is tied for the Big 12 lead in GWG and is one of 23 players in the country with at least four winners this season.

Nelles Notes
Following her program record of nine shutouts last season, Pauline Nelles has posted five clean sheets in 2024. She is second in program history with 17 career shutouts and fourth with 26 career wins. Nelles made her 200th career save against West Virginia on Sept. 26, and she is now up to fourth in team history with 213.

Looking Ahead
The Sun Devils return to Tempe on Thursday when they host Kansas State. The first of three straight at home to close the regular season will begin at 7 p.m. AZT.
