SCOTTSDALE - Sun Devil Baseball swept their last weekend of the regular season in dramatic fashion, earning six runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to walk off UNLV and close out Phoenix Municipal Stadium's tenure as a Pac-12 host. The Sun Devils now prepare to extend their six-game win streak in the Pac-12 Tournament that will begin with pool play against Stanford on Tuesday and Oregon State on Thursday, two teams that the Sun Devils had very different results against during the regular season.
Just two weekends ago, Arizona State swept all three games at Stanford for the first time since 2016 and outscored the Cardinal 39-9 in the process. ASU will look to repeat this success before turning to an Oregon State team that got the best of them in all three games in Corvallis back in early April. Since April 15, the Sun Devils have gone 16-4 and recorded double digit hits in their last 12 outings. ASU looks to continue on their recent path and cement their spot in the NCAA tournament this week at Scottsdale Stadium, both games beginning at 10:00 a.m. AZT. Each game will be available to stream on Pac-12 Network and will be broadcast to radio on KDUS AM 1060.
