STANFORD, Calif. – Sun Devil softball saw its season come to an end on Thursday with a 6-0 loss to No. 6 UCLA in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Pac-12 Softball Tournament.

Arizona State (20-31) fought hard, trailing 2-0 after one inning, as UCLA (35-10) capitalized on two hits and a walk for an early lead. The Sun Devils' lone hit of the game came from Libby Walsh in the top of the third.

Deborah Jones held the Bruins scoreless in the second, third, and fourth innings to keep ASU within reach. However, UCLA crossed the plate four times in the fifth inning to put the game away.

The result ends the Pac-12 era for the Sun Devils as they move to the Big 12 this summer. ASU won the conference title three times.
