TEMPE, Ariz.-- For a 36th consecutive season, head coach Sheila McInerney has led the Sun Devil Women's Tennis team to the NCAA Tournament as they'll open with Northwestern on Friday, May 3 (10 a.m. MST) in Malibu, California.

Should they advance, the Sun Devils will meet the winner of host No. 6 Pepperdine and SIUE on Saturday, May 4 at 1 p.m. MST.
McInerney has led the Sun Devils to the postseason in every spring since 1987 (excluding 2020, which was cut short due to COVID-19) and has reached the NCAA Tournament 38 times in her 40-year tenure.
In their last time out, the Sun Devils were bested in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Championships by No. 4/10 Cal, 4-0, on April 25 in Ojai, California.
Prior to Ojai, the Sun Devils won six straight matches to close out the regular season. They took down six conference opponents including No. 61 Oregon, Washington State, No. 25 Washington, No. 48 Utah, No. 75 Colorado and No. 39 Arizona.
Four of those six victories came via a 4-0 sweep as the Sun Devils outscored their opponents 24-5 throughout the winning streak.

Argyrokastriti Named Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year
A two-time member of the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll, senior Marianna Argyrokastriti was named the 2024 Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year, the conference announced on April 25.
The Athens, Greece native is the program's second Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, with Jacqueline Cako claiming the accolade in 2013.
