PHOENIX - Sun Devil Baseball earned a midweek break after putting together their best series performance in a conference sweep over UCLA this past weekend, and will have some time to rest before hosting USC in a three-game series this upcoming weekend. The sweep was ASU's first of UCLA since 2010 and may be just the spark the Sun Devils need to make a late-season push, beginning with a Trojan squad that shares a similar record.
Arizona State will wait until Friday to begin a three-game conference series against USC, taking place at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The two teams have traded home series sweeps recently, with ASU taking three games in Phoenix two seasons back and USC returning the favor last year in Los Angeles. Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with the series wrapping up on Sunday afternoon. The series will be available on ASU Live Stream and broadcast to radio on KDUS AM 1060.
