EUGENE, Ore. – Sun Devil softball lost to Oregon 5-0 on Sunday afternoon in the final game of their weekend series.
Arizona State (17-14, 2-7 Pac-12) managed just three hits in the loss, with two coming off the bat of Audrey LeClair. Oregon (19-10, 7-2 Pac-12) had eight hits, including three home runs.
The Ducks hit two home runs and scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning. They added another run in the third inning and the final tally on a solo home run in the sixth inning.
LeClair singled and was then stranded at second in the ASU first inning. She then tripled with two outs in the third and scored on an infield single from Tanya Windle. However, replay review determined that Windle was out at first to end the inning and take the run off the board.
Marissa Schuld worked the first three innings in the circle for the Sun Devils, allowing five hits and four runs. Meika Lauppe went the final three innings and struck out four with one run allowed.

The Sun Devils will be back in action on Wednesday when they face San Diego in a doubleheader at noon. Both games will be available on ESPN+.
