COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- The Sun Devil dive program competed at the Air Force Diving Invitational over the weekend in Colorado ahead of their final dual meet of the season next week.
10 teams competed at the invite including Air Force, BYU, California Baptist, Colorado Mesa, Colorado State, Denver, Northern Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.
Divers Vera Brewer, Kayden Hayes, Ashlyn Kirsch, Caleb Liban, Zachory Lundgren, Lane Stallworth and Amayah Wiley competed at the invite.
Feb. 1, 2024
The invite opened with the men's 3-meter and the women's 1-meter. Stallworth opened his time in Colorado Springs with a fourth-place finish on the 3-meter board, scoring a 326.35.
Feb. 2, 2024
The second day of action saw action in the men's 1-meter and the women's 3-meter. Stallworth and Lundgren advanced to the finals with Stallworth taking a fifth-place finish with a 332.25 and Lundgren taking 11th with a 302.70.
In the women's 3-meter, Hayes and Wiley competed in the final on the 3-meter board with Hayes finishing seventh with a 249.25 and Wiley took ninth with a score of 231.30.

The final day of the invite was for the platform event with Hayes and Brewer both qualifying for the finals in the women's platform event to start the afternoon. Hayes took second with a zone qualifying score of 260.80 with Brewer taking eighth with a 197.10.
In the men's platform event, all three men competing for the Sun Devils this weekend qualified for the finals. Lundgren took third with a score of 340.90, Stallworth in seventh with a 298.35 and Liban was eighth with a 290.00.
