On the dominant performance today…
"We talked a lot about discipline in our locker room and yesterday in our practice. We played a solid three quarters against Stanford and kind of went a little off track in that fourth so we talked about 60 minutes and I think we put a pretty solid 60 minutes together."
On having ten unanswered goals…
"Momentum. Lacrosse is a game of momentum. If you can hold onto it, you're going to make good things happen. In the locker room, we have to make sure we take a deep breath and make sure we reset."
On having nine different goalscorers…
"In our offense, we talk about seven threats. All day every day. We are never going to get it done with just one or two. We have to make sure that all seven are a threat in every big moment, and to have nine… that's a beautiful thing."
On Berit Brookfield's performance today…
"Berit's a true two-way player. She's going to get it done in the draw circle. She's going to get it done on the defensive end, and today she got it done on the offensive end."
On matching up well against Cal…
"We talked a lot about fine-tuning from our last game. In the Pac-12, you see everybody twice. I think it was a little bit of momentum coming off of Friday's game to really get us going and feel confident and successful."
On using this win to go on against Oregon and Colorado next…
"You feel it. We talk about discipline and what made us successful, and the little moments
kept us successful. We have to make sure we bring those when we go to Oregon and Colorado."
On a season-high of points scored and season-low of points allowed…
"It was mostly fine-tuning emotional and physical disciplines and that just leads to every stat category on the board. If you can clean that up as a whole and as a unit, you're going to find success everywhere."
Midfielder Berit Brookfield
On hat trick today…
"It felt great, it was an awesome game out here on Easter. The team killed it. They had my back, supported me through everything and the coaching staff was phenomenal. So it was a great day to come out and get a huge win."
On bouncing back against Cal…
"Stanford game was in the past, it was a flush game. I'm just happy that our team is able to come out, overall moral was great today. I'm excited for what next weekend holds."
On what team will take from this match into the ones against Oregon and Colorado next weekend…
"I think just our confidence we proved, I think to ourselves and everyone in the Pac-12 that we're capable of beating some really, really good teams. So I'm excited for next weekend to prove to everyone else."
