TEMPE, Ariz. – On a day in which the No. 23 Sun Devils honored and celebrated seniors Sedona Gallagher and Domenika Turkovic, it was only fitting history was made along the way.
After a 4-0 sweep of No. 48 Utah (12-10) on Saturday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center, the Sun Devils (16-5, 6-3) went undefeated at home for the first time in program history, going a perfect 15-0 in Tempe this spring.
They've now won 20 consecutive matches at home in a streak that dates back to March 5, 2022.
"The kids on the team really wanted to make sure we'd win this one for [Domenika and Sedona], so it was nice," head coach Sheila McInerney said. "It was a good way to finish the season.
Now, we've got Arizona and the Pac-12 Championships and NCAAs, so one day at a time, and we'll look to keep getting better. But, really happy for the seniors, happy for the team and being undefeated at home, with a pretty tough schedule, speaks volumes to the group we have."

For the second consecutive day, the Sun Devils set the tone in doubles. Sedona Gallagher/Giulia Morlet breezed to a 6-0 win on Court 2 – their second in as many days – to improve to 12-2 alongside each other this spring.
Marianna Argyrokastriti and Chelsea Fontenel clinched it with a 6-3 win on Court 3. Domenika Turkovic and Patricija Spaka were leading 4-3 on Court 1 at the time of the clinched match.
The Sun Devils stacked a trio of wins rather quickly to clinch this one. Gallagher, playing for the final time in Tempe, was the first Sun Devil off after beating Marcela Lopez on Court 5. Giulia Morlet and Chelsea Fontenel were next, topping the Utes' top two players in Madison Tattini and Katya Townsend, respectively.
It was the 15th win of the season for the freshman Fontenel, who trails only Marianna Argyrokastriti (17) in wins this spring.
