TEMPE - Sun Devil Soccer (5-1-3) kicks off Pac-12 play versus Oregon State (3-2-3) on Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m. MST at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. The matchup can be streamed on the ASU Live Stream network.

In the Sun Devil's previous match, Arizona State defeated Colorado College at home in a 3-0 victory on Friday. In just the sixth minute of the match, Keri Matthews recorded her third goal of the 2023 season by finishing Lauren Kirberg's corner kick with a header. Gabi Rennie then doubled the score by finishing a shot taken by Enasia Colon in the 55th minute to record her second goal of the year. To close out the scoring, Colon recorded a second assist when she took a free kick just outside of the box in the 76th minute that Lieske Carleer was able to get her head on and put the ball across the line.
Oregon State travels to Tempe after back-to-back scoreless draws, with the most recent one coming from a matchup with Montana on Sunday. Forward McKenna Martinez leads the Beavers with seven points coming from three goals and one assist in 2023 non-conference play.
The Sun Devils have played 26 matches against the Beavers, dating back to 1997 with Arizona State holding a 15-10-1 record. ASU is 9-5 when facing OSU in Tempe and they have dropped two straight. Friday's game will mark the earliest the teams have played in a season and just the second time the have played in September.
