BOULDER, Colo. — Sunday's matinee in Boulder featured five goals by Mina Scott, a single game career high for the junior and a hat trick by graduate captain Katie Brodsky. Their combined eight goals allowed Sun Devil Lacrosse (4-10, 3-6 Pac-12) to grasp the double digit threshold for the tenth time in 2023 despite losing to Colorado (7-6, 5-2 Pac-12) 15-12.

Up next, the Sun Devils will finish their 2023 regular road trip in San Diego against San Diego State on Friday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. MST and UC Davis on Sunday, April 23 at 12:00 p.m. MST.

Notables Game Summary
The Buffaloes opened the scoring. Three minutes in, the Sun Devils had a rush to the net, Kaylon Buckner connected quickly with Katie Brodsky who locked in the first Maroon and Gold goal. Shortly after, Ng found Scott cutting across the goal for a 2-1 lead. The Buffs answered back, but so did the Sun Devils. Coming up from behind the net, Brodsky passed to Lydia Oldknow to finish the job. Down 6-3 headed into the second quarter, Berit Brookfield cut down on the Buffs lead with a successful free position attempt. Brodsky tallied her second with a turn and shoot opportunity. Almost four minutes later, Claire Beucher scored off a screen from Scott. Scott's offensive prowess extended as she brought the Sun Devils two goals before halftime and became the main act of the third quarter as she put away three goals. Behind by three to begin the final quarter, Brodsky's drive-in goal and Annie Haley's free position goal would not be enough to overcome the Buffaloes.
