Sun Devil Athletics welcomes the arrival of Hollie Loud as the new assistant coach for the Women's Soccer team. Loud is coming to the Sun Devils after coaching at the University of North Alabama for eight seasons. Throughout her eight seasons with the Lions, Loud had a record of 60-56-13 and she coached the team to a 11-9-1 record in their first year as a Division I program in 2018. As a player, Loud started in 86 consecutive games for the Lions and was captain of the team for four consecutive seasons.

"I'm delighted to add Hollie to the team. Hols was an incredible captain and leader for me as a player one or two moons ago," head coach Graham Winkworth said. "When we started this process her name immediately came to my thoughts. I wanted to introduce her to the players in the process early on and they immediately connected."

"Hollie will be so important in the development of this team both on and off the pitch. We have lost a lot of incredible talent and so I'm excited to put her to work both in the recruitment of new talent and the development of the talent we have."

In 2017, Loud assisted North Alabama to a 13-4-2 record, which led them to the NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament. Throughout the Lions' first season as a Division I program, Loud helped the team to two wins in the ASUN Conference Tournament which led them to the Championship game, where they lost 2-3.

As a player, Loud helped lead her team to three consecutive NCAA Division II tournaments from 2009-11. As a starter and captain on the team, Loud led her squad to the university's first Gulf South Conference Championship. Throughout her career, she scored 20 goals and notched 14 assists.
