PULLMAN, Wash. - The Arizona State men's basketball team dropped a road contest at Washington State Saturday night, 75-58.
Frankie Collins paced Arizona State (15-7, 6-5) with 16 points including 13 in the second half. The Sun Devils held Washington State (10-13, 5-7) to 37 percent from the field, improving ASU's .391 opponent field goal percentage since the start of last season, a mark that sits 10th in the nation.
Collins was joined in double figures by Desmond Cambridge Jr. (16) and Warren Washington (12). Collins and Washington snatched six rebounds each to lead ASU while Jamiya Neal tossed three dimes.

The Sun Devils jumped out to a four-point advantage less than four minutes into the game before WSU went on a 17-5 scoring stretch over 9:25 and took a 20-12 lead. From there, the Cougars ended the first half on a 16-10 edge including a 7-0 run in less than two minutes.
The Sun Devils battled, cutting the deficit to as few as five with 6:45 in regulation. From that point, the Cougars ended the game on a 12-point scoring advantage and sealed the victory.
Arizona State will look to get back on track next weekend, hosting the Oregon schools beginning with Oregon State. Tip is set for Thursday at 6 p.m. MT from Desert Financial Arena, while Saturday's Oregon game tips at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
