The Toulouse, France, native is now a perfect 19-for-19 in individual events raced in this season. He was also a member of both winning 200 medley relays against the Cardinal and Golden Bears.

Marchand earned Pac-12 Men's Swimmer of the Month honors in November after he won each of the 11 events he competed in throughout the Sun Devils' dual meet at USC (Nov. 4) and their midseason invitational at NC State (Nov. 17-19).
He compiled one of the most impressive freshman seasons in Sun Devil history last year, earning CSCAA Division I Swimmer of the Year, Pac-12 Freshman and Men's Swimmer of the Year honors. He was a two-time national champion in the 200 breast and 200 IM -- setting an NCAA record in the 200 IM at 1:37.69 -- to become the school's first swimming National Champion in 22 years.
Marchand and the top-ranked Sun Devil Men, fresh off one of the most memorable weekends in program history, are primed to make some noise later this spring at both the Pac-12 Championships and NCAA Championships.
