TEMPE, Ariz. – After leading Sun Devil Water Polo to a 3-1 record in the Cross Conference Challenge, attackers Luca Petovary and Juliette Dhalluin have been named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week, respectively.
Petovary and Dhalluin are the two lead scorers for the Sun Devils, and each set career highs in scoring this weekend. Not to mention, each student athlete reached the double digit mark in steals to help out defensively allowing the team to hold three of four opponents to single digits.
Player of the Week: Luca Petovary
Petovary recorded a team-high 16 total goals, including a career-high six goals and nine points in the win over Biola. Her nine points is the second most recorded in a game by a Sun Devil in program history behind Vanda Baksa's 10 point (8G-2A) performance last season.
