SAN FRANCISCO– For the second consecutive week, Jorinde van Klinken earned Pac-12 Women's field Athlete of the Week honors, the conference announced Tuesday. Van Klinken had season-best marks in both the shot put and discus at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson last weekend. This is the third conference athlete of the week nod of her career.

Van Klinken upped her national lead in the discus by three inches to (64.75m/212-5) with her 29-foot victory. In the shot put she threw 18.45/60-6.5 that ranks second in the country and first overall in the Pac-12. That was a half-inch improvement of her previous week's performance. The Sun Devils concluded their regular season and are set to compete at the Pac-12 Championships May 13-15 at Oregon's Hayward Field. NCAA West Prelims then run May 26-28 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
