TEMPE, Ariz. -- No. 8 seed Arizona State softball team will continue their postseason run this weekend, hosting the 2022 Tempe Super Regionals Friday through Sunday at Farrington Stadium. ASU will welcome No. 9 seed Northwestern to the desert, with a trip to the Women's College World Series on the line.

The weekend schedule is slated to begin Friday, May 27 with a 5:00 p.m. MST first pitch featured on ESPNU followed by game two on Saturday, May 28 on ESPN2 with a late night start of 8:00 p.m. MST. If game three is needed, it will be played Sunday, May 29 with time TBD.

At each Super site, two teams play in a best-of-three tournament format. The winners from each site advance to the NCAA Women's College World Series. The WCWS is held in Oklahoma City from June 2-June 9/10.
