Junior Sun Devil Jalen Graham has earned All-Pac-12 second-team honor for the first time in his career, as the Sun Devils prepare for the 2022 Pac-12 Tournament starting Wednesday in Las Vegas.
Graham earns a spot on the Second Tam for the first time in his career, joining his teammate Marreon Jackson in receiving a conference honor. Jackson was an Honorable Mention selection on the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team.
Jalen Graham as a junior has started in 21 games this season and has emerged as one of the Sun Devils top scorers in the last 17 games.
Graham is averaging 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds and has shot 52 percent from the field in the last 17 games for Arizona State, which has included the Sun Devils winning seven of the last eight games heading into the Pac-12 tournament.
Graham is shooting 31-of-48 (.646) from the foul line in the past 17 games. On Jan. 17 in a matchup against Utah, Graham had 12 points, including a game-winner with four seconds left. Against USC on Feb. 3 he scored a career-high 19 points in 25 minutes. In an upset against No. 3 UCLA on Feb. 5, Graham secured his first double-double of his career with 16 points, 10 rebounds and a career high 6 assists.
Since entering the starting lineup for the Sun Devils on Jan. 24, Graham has scored in double digits 10 of the last 14 games which has resulted in an 8-6 record.
Graham is one of five Pac-12 players to be named on the All-Pac-12 second team. Conference honors are voted upon by the coaches, as the coaches are not permitted to vote for themselves or their own players for the honor.
