TEMPE - The Arizona State track and field team closed out week two of the outdoor season with a bang. The Sun Devils celebrated Vincent Mauri's top-25 finish (3:43.67) in the 1500m moments after Lena Lebrun cut four seconds off her all-time 1500m time. Dylan James recorded the 15th-best triple jump mark this season too. ASU picked up seven event victories and numerous PRs on the day.

"We got a little bit better this week. What a great track meet," head coach Dion Miller said. "Good things happened all over the last two days, starting off with Ralford Mullings throwing a huge PR in the discus - that's going to be dividends at the Pac-12 meet. That was the highlight and then Jamar Marshall and our 200m guys all did a great job as well in lowering their times. When you look at this weekend we're two weeks into the season and I'll tell you one thing: It goes by fast. We have a week off and then we have Sun Angel the weekend after so I'm excited with where our team is right now."
