KOHALA COAST, Hawai`i--Oklahoma State topped the rest of a loaded field and won the 31st annual Amer Ari Intercollegiate Saturday. The Cowboys climbed four slots from Friday's standings to win by one stroke over Texas Tech, while Arizona State finished third.

OSU claimed the team and individual titles in dramatic fashion. Eugenio Lopez-Chacarro eagled the final hole of the day to card a course-record 62, pushing the Cowboys one shot past Texas Tech

The No. 4 nationally ranked (Golfstat) Cowboys shot a tournament low round of 24-under 264, pushing them to -50 for the tournament. No. 11 Texas Tech finished at -49 at the Hapuna Golf Course (Mauna Kea Resort) with No. 3 Arizona State collecting third place (-42). The Sun Devils were the first day leader and Texas Tech led after Friday's round.

Lopez-Chacarro made a rise up the medalist leader board on Saturday that was even more impressive than that of his team. Lopez-Chacarra shot past seven golfers on the final day to edge Texas Tech's Baard Skogen by two strokes. Lopez-Chacarra (67-68-62) finished at -19 and Skogen (66-65-68) was at -17. Two players tied for third at -16, RJ Manke of Washington and Mason Andersen of Arizona State. Manke is currently the No. 1 ranked collegiate golfer in NCAA Division I.
