TEMPE – Sun Devil Men's Tennis dropped the championship match of the ASU 8-Team Invitational 4-2 to Memphis on Sunday at the Kiwanis Recreation Center. Arizona State had gone undefeated in its two previous matches, earning wins over #65 Rice and UC Santa Barbara. ASU fought with an adjusted lineup throughout the weekend and earned a ton of help from the bottom three courts prior to Sunday's final match.

"The big thing this weekend were the guys who stepped in at the end of the lineup who weren't originally expecting to be playing did a fantastic job. Doubles were better this weekend which was good since we had two brand new teams in and playing together. I think we did a really good job this weeknd of putting ourselves in a position to win the tournament with having so many different guys having to step in and play, so a lot of positives."
