Vincent Mauri and Lena Lebrun both shined for their respective teams, with Mauri blowing out the competition in both of his races - he won the Dave Murray invite with a 37-second lead. Lebrun was ASU's top women's finisher in both meets (16th at the UCR Invitational (20.44.8) and ninth at Dave Murray (21:02.4). As a unit, the men finished second and eighth, and the women placed fourth and 20th.

Strong showings this weekend would set up the Sun Devils to compete at the NCAA Regionals in Tacoma, Washington, November 11. Qualifying times then lead into the NCAA Championships November 19 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
