SAN FRANCISCO - Grad transfer co-captain Fabien Salle picked up Pac-12 Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors after collecting a trio of wins against No. 19 Texas A&M and No. 5 Texas. Salle upset the Aggies' No. 74 Perot at 2 singles, and combined with Max McKennon to upset the Longhorns' 23rd-ranked No. 1 doubles pair.
Unranked Fabien Salle swept Perot 6-4, 6-4 to give ASU one of it's two points against A&M. He followed that with a 6-2 win over No. 23 Eliot Spizzirri/Siem Woldeab of Texas with help from McKennon to give ASU its lone point in the loss to Texas.
Arizona State hits the road this weekend for the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. ASU opens the weekend Saturday against No. 5 Ohio State and then will play either No. 17 North Carolina or Northwestern.
