ASU officially opens the season on the road at the Journeymen Wrangle Mania on Nov. 12 with a dual against Rutgers. The home opener is Nov. 17 against defending Big 12 champion and preseason No. 6, Missouri.

The Sun Devils stay on the road for the rest of 2022, highlighted by the Journeymen Classic on Nov. 13, the Cliff Keen Invitational Dec. 2-3 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships Dec. 29-30 in Chicago. ASU then has a neutral site match against No. 8 Cornell on Jan. 4 in Austin, Texas, followed by a matchup against No. 13 Iowa State on Jan. 8 in Ames, Iowa.

The January home slate opens with No. 15 Princeton coming to town on Jan. 15. The Sun Devils then host Cal Poly in a Beauty and the Beast on Jan. 20. ASU will then go back on the road for two matches, starting off with No. 19 Stanford on Jan. 22 followed by Lehigh on Jan. 28. Mullett Arena will then host its second wrestling match when Little Rock visits on Feb. 3.

Program rival No. 23 Oregon State hosts the Sun Devils on Feb. 5, followed by a matchup in Desert Financial Arena with Cal State Bakersfield on Feb. 16. The Sun Devils go on the road one last time to face No. 7 Nebraska on Feb. 19.

The Sun Devils return six All-Americans for a loaded lineup. Last season the Sun Devils placed fourth at the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row and their fifth Pac-12 Championship title in six years. Heading into this season, FloWrestling currently has the Sun Devils projected to finish third at the NCAA Tournament, and eight Sun Devils were featured in FloWrestling's preseason rankings.
