Sun Devil WBB will travel to the Bahamas for 2022 Goombay Splash

SEATTLE – Global Sports & Events (GSE) today announced the Sun Devil women's basketball team will be one of six teams participating in the 2022 Goombay Splash taking place Nov. 24-26 in the Bahamas (Bimini, Bahamas).
 
The Sun Devils will play both American University and Notre Dame on Nov. 25-26 with the order of opposition to be determined.
 
Now entering its 20th year in the Bahamas, the Goombay Splash will host the following Women's Division I teams: 
Goombay Division 
Arizona State
American University
Notre Dame 
 
Bimini Division 
George Mason University
LSU
UAB
 
Games will be played Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at Gateway Christian Academy, with teams being hosted at the highly regarded 4-Star Hilton Resorts World Bimini.

Game 1: American vs. Notre Dame
Game 2: George Mason vs. LSU
 
Friday November 25, 2022
Game 3: Arizona State vs. Loser Game 1 (American or Notre Dame)
Game 4: UAB vs. Loser Game 2 (George Mason or LSU)
 
Saturday November 26, 2022
Game 5: Arizona State vs. Winner Game 1 (American or Notre Dame)
Game 6: Winner Game 2 vs. UAB (George Mason or LSU)
