Sun Devil three-time All-American Cameron Sisk makes his professional debut this weekend at the ATB Classic presented by Volvo Edmonton, the second event of the season on PGA TOUR Canada.
Sisk finished in the top 15 in the final Velocity Global Ranking to earn membership on a PGA TOUR international tour beginning the week after the NCAA Championship. On PGA TOUR Canada, eligibility begins with the ATB Classic presented by Volvo Edmonton (June 16-19). These players are also exempt into Second Stage of the current season's Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament.
Sisk finished his career as a three-time All-American with 44 tournaments and 135 rounds played and a 71.21 stroke average, including 70.82 in his senior year. He had 48 rounds in the 60s and 80 at par or better, including 26 of 39 in 2021-22. He earned medalist honors at three tournaments.
For the second year in a row, the Sun Devils reached match play competition at the 2022 NCAA Golf Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club, and Sisk earned his second-straight NCAA top-10 finish. The No. 7 seeded Sun Devils beat second-seeded and top-ranked Oklahoma and defending NCAA Champion Pepperdine on May 31, before falling in the title match to Texas on June 1. With 13 birdies and 47 pars in the 72-hole tournament -- it marked just the third time a Sun Devil earned back-to-back top-10 NCAA finishes, and the first to do it in nearly three decades. Todd Demsey did the trick in 1993 and 1994, while Phil Mickelson did it four straight seasons (1989-92), including three NCAA titles (1989, 1990 and 1992).
