TEMPE - Arizona State and Sunkist Kids RTC will be well represented at this weekend's World Team Trial Challenge Tournament (WTTCT) in Coralville, Iowa. NCAA 2022 heavyweight runner up Cohlton Schultz (Greco-Roman 130 kg one-seed), two-time national champion Zahid Valencia (FS 86 kg two-seed), two-time All-American Josh shields (FS 74 kg two-seed), Josh Kramer (61 kg seven-seed), and Chad Porter (GR 97 kg eight-seed) are all set to compete May 21-22 at Xtream Arena. The WTTCT leads into the Final X tournaments on June 3 and 8, the results of which will determine who represents Team USA at the Senior World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, Sept. 10-18.

Schultz, Shields, Kramer and Porter are all coming off the U.S. Open where Schultz won his weight class and Shields took silver at 61 kg. Valencia competed at the 2022 Senior Pan-American Championships where he won the 86 kg FS weight class. Schultz is aiming to make his second Senior World Team after earning a spot last September thanks to a pair of wins over Jacob Mitchell (Army WCAP).
