Arizona State is bringing some of the best in the country to California. Thirty-seven Sun Devils sit in the West top-30 for their individual events, along with three top-25 relay teams. Nationally, ASU has 21 marks in the top-30.

#ThrowsU celebrated Turner Washington and Jorinde van Klinken making their season debuts at last week's Sun Angel Classic where they immediately entered the national conversation. Van Klinken took the national discus lead with a 62.38m/204-8 mark, and Washington climbed to fifth in the NCAA in the discus with his 62.12m/203-9. Ralford Mullings kept things interesting and is third in the NCAA in the discus (63.50m/208-4).

More #ThrowsU news, Beatrice Llano ranks fourth in the hammer (69.64m/228-6)while Shelby Moran is 11th (66.86m/219-4). Washington ranks second in the shot following his outdoor debut (68-5.75), and sophomore Mya Lesnar is 30th (16.28m/63-5).

Dylan James set a long jumper PR at 7.70m/25-3.25 and now ranks 15th in the NCAA. He's 19th in the triple jump too (15.65m/51-4.25). Justin Robinson is 11th in the 400m dash (45.88), Vinny Mauri is 13th in the 5K (13:40.69), and Jamar Marshall Jr. is 10th in the 110H (13.60). ASU's men's 4x400 group of Jalen Drayden, Dubem Nwachukwu, Garrett Shedrick, and Justin Robinson ranks 11th (3:03.03).

Setting up for postseason
The Mt. SAC Relays are a huge test for the Sun Devils ahead of postseason competition. The Pac-12 Championships are right around the corner (May 13-15), then NCAA West Prelims (May 26-28) and NCAA Championships (June 8-11). Aside from the aforementioned, the Maroon and Gold faithful should keep an eye on freshman Adriana Tatum who's sitting 15th in the NCAA West Region in the 200m (23.35), Robinson who's eighth in the 400m (45.88), Lena Lebrun who's sixth in the 3K steeplechase (10:15.86), and Dylan James who's fifth in the long jump (7.70m). ASU's full top-30 West Regional lineup can be seen here.
