EUGENE, Ore. - No. 16 Arizona State Softball (27-5, 8-0 Pac-12) scored nine unanswered runs over No. 14 Oregon (24-10, 4-7 Pac-12) to extend their winning streak to 16 games Saturday night. In their 9-4 victory, the Sun Devils had their 11th, three home run game of the season to take the series against the Ducks.
In two games, both programs have had 15 hits, however ASU has been able to accumulate 18 runs compared to Oregon's 7.
Junior outfielder Jazmine Hill led the Sun Devils with her first two home run game of her career, along with three RBIs and a single. Hill smashed a solo home run in the fourth inning and a two-run home run in the seventh to go 3 for 4 for the night.
On the weekend, Hill has batted .429 with four runs, three hits and three RBI to complement her two home runs.
The Sun Devils were quiet at the plate for the first three innings.
Despite Hill's home run, the Sun Devils trailed one more inning before ASU took the reins over the game and went on a six-run rally to put them ahead of the Ducks 7-4.
Jessica Puk gave the Sun Devils a two-run lead with a blooper on the edge of the grass, followed by the birthday girl, Mailey McLemore, hitting an RBI single up the middle that pushed the game to 7-4.
Junior Lindsay Lopez got the start in the circle where she lasted three and a third innings, Allison Royalty came in to relieve Lopez in the bottom of the fourth inning. Royalty would later strike out four and throw two and a third scoreless innings to earn her second win of the season.
Marissa Schuld came into the game to relieve Royalty in the bottom sixth, where she would grab the last four outs to earn the save and secure the win for the Sun Devils.
The pitching staff held the Ducks to only three hits in the final four innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Oregon had two runners on base in the bottom half of the first inning, but a double play and a flyout to Yanni Acuña kept the game scoreless.
- In the second inning, Oregon struck first with a double to put them ahead 2-0.
- Oregon scored another two runs in the third inning to extend their lead to four.
- Jazmine Hill notched the first hit for ASU with a solo home run in the fourth inning to center field to put the Sun Devils down three.
- Royalty kept Oregon scoreless by striking out two of three batters in the bottom fifth inning.
- Savannah Price opened the top of the sixth with a single, then Torres hit a two-run home run to cut the deficit to one run. Acuña reached base on an error by the right fielder, and advanced to third on a flyout by Cydney Sanders. Hill singled to first but was unable to bring Acuña in, then stole second. Pinch-hitter Kristiana Watson was walked to load the bases with two outs. Makenna Harper was walked to bring in Acuña to tie the game at four apiece. Jessica Puk then hit a blooper single through the gap with a two RBI single to give the Sun Devils a 6-4 lead. With runners on the corners, pinch-hitter Mailey McLemore singled through the gap with an RBI Single to extend the lead for the Devils to make it 7-4.
- With Oregon threatening, Schuld stranded two runners on base keeping the Sun Devil lead to three headed into the seventh inning.
- Acuña was hit by a pitch to open the seventh, then Hill drove her second home run of the night to extend the lead, 9-4.
- Schuld held the Ducks scoreless and earned her third save of the season.
