TEMPE, Ariz. – No. 14 Sun Devil Gymnastics will compete in the evening session at the Pac-12 Championships for the second-straight year, taking place at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah, on Saturday at 5 p.m. MST.
Arizona State (6-4, 5-2 Pac-12) earned a No. 4 seed for the conference championships. The night session will include No. 1 seed Utah (10-3), No. 2 seed Cal (7-3) and No. 3 seed Oregon State (8-2). Seedings are based on the NQS Rankings. Utah will start on vault, Cal on bars, Oregon State on beam and Arizona State will start on floor.

Arizona State (6-4, 5-2 Pac-12)
- The Gym Devils won a share of their first ever Pac-12 regular season championship alongside Cal, Utah and Oregon State while notching a Team NQS of 196.880 and a season-high score of 197.800.
- The Gym Devils went on a four-meet winning streak where they put up a 197-plus in three meets. Part of that winning streak saw Arizona State defeat the UCLA Bruins for the first time since 2001. They put up a 197.800, good for their seventh highest score in program history. The following week, the Sun Devils defeated Cal, putting up a 197.075. The Sun Devils snapped Cal's undefeated season at the time.
- Junior Hannah Scharf has had another stellar season, currently ranked No. 12 in the all-around nationally. This season, she has two Pac-12 weekly awards. She was named Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week for her efforts against Cal and won the coach's choice of the week following the win against the Bruins. Additionally, she has five all-around titles and six additional event titles this season. Currently, she is on a four-meet streak of scoring at least a 9.900 on beam and floor.
- Sophomore Emily White has been another consistent gymnast for the team. She was named Pac-12 Gymnast of The Week following the UCLA win, putting up a new career high 39.600 to win the all-around in that meet. The score was good for the 21st-highest in program history. She has five event titles this season and six scores of 9.900-plus.
- Several other Gym Devils have had strong seasons. Sophomore Jada Mangahas has scored at least a 9.825 on vault and bars the last four meets. Sophomore Sarah Clark has not scored below a 9.850 on bars for the entire 2022 regular season. Lastly, Freshman Alex Theodorou is ranked in the Top 25 on vault. She has won the event three times and recorded a new career high 9.925 this season.
- The Gym Devils defeated one of their three opponents in the night session with a win over Cal. The meets against Oregon State and Utah were both on the road, with the Gym Devils coming up short in both of those.
