Quotes
Co-Head Coaches Jay and Jess Santos

"Tonight's performance was electrifying and we were able to get that critical Territorial Cup point. It was also a good stepping stone and another very solid away score in the books. I think my favorite part was the team was not intimidated competing at the school down south. We showed up super strong on bars and then going to vault, we hands down had one of the best rotations of the year. They closed in on us a little after floor and put the pressure on beam, which is an event we've been struggling to get going this season. I was so impressed with how they attacked that event.

"Seniors Megan and Jasmine were absolutely outstanding, which is exactly what we expect of them in this rivalry situation. I could not be more proud of those two and the whole squad. We are very excited to be back home next weekend after spending the last three of the four weeks on the road."

Senior Jasmine Gutierrez
On winning the Territorial Cup matchup
"It felt amazing. It felt like everything we were capable of doing. Beam lineup was amazing. We came off of a floor rotation that we knew we could do better, and then we went to beam and we absolutely killed it. That's what we do in the beam lineup everyday in the gym and it was fun. They are a great team, but we are capable of even more than we showed tonight. Beating them and never losing to them in my entire career is such an exclamation mark on my whole career here."

On scoring a 9.900 on Beam
"It felt awesome. I came off of a pretty average score on floor and then came to beam and just said, 'Beam is how we are going to put our exclamation mark on the meet.' It was fun, it reminded me of last year when I also got a 9.900. It was amazing."
