TEMPE - Sun Devil Wrestling will be well represented at the Senior World Team Trials in Lincoln, Nebraska Sept. 11-12 when two current Sun Devils and a pair of alumni hit the mats alongside numerous members of Sunkist RTC. Current Devils Cohlton Schultz (Greco 130 kg, 1-seed) and Chad Porter (Greco 97 kg, 6-seed) will wrestle alongside alumni freestylers Josh Shields (79 kg) and Josh Kramer (61 kg, 9-seed).
Winners of each weight class in all three international styles will go on to compete at the 2021 World Championships in Oslo, Norway, Oct. 2-10. Competition runs Saturday 10:00-3:00 p.m CST, then 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. CST. Sunday's events run 10:00-1:30 p.m. CST then 2:00-5:00 p.m. CST.

Schultz earned All-American honors in his second season with ASU and also brought home the Pac-12 285 lb title, ultimately going 17-2 on the year. He won the Greco 130 kg crown last October at US Senior Nationals. Porter took second at 2020 Senior Nationals (Greco 97 kg) after going 3-1.
Competing on behalf of Sunkist Kids, Kramer is one of 12 seeded-athletes in the 61 kg division. The Buckeye, Ariz. native started all 17 duals during his redshirt senior season in 2019-20, ultimately earning a third-place finish at 133 lbs - his second medal with ASU - at the Pac-12 Championships. Kramer lost in the finals of Senior Nationals in May of 2021 to Shelton Mack who will also feature in the competition.
Kramer will see a familiar face in three-time All-American Josh Shields who is competing in the 74 kg division. The holder of three top-ten records while at Arizona State, Shields was named to the NWCA First-Team All American during the 2019-20 season. Both athletes will be representing Sukist Kids.
