On Tuesday afternoon, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference announced the All-Tournament team from last weekend. Senior defender Bente Rogge was the lone Sun Devil named to the All-Tournament team.
Rogge recorded just two goals on the weekend, but earned All-Tournament honors for her well-rounded performance getting it done on both sides of the ball. Rogge was credited with seven assists in three games, being a large part in the upset over #4 seed California Golden Bears in round one. Three assists came against #3 seed UCLA on Sunday which was a personal game-high this season (previously three).
Defensively, Rogge recorded three field blocks and one steal in the three games of competition, to put her at 32 steals and an NCAA leading 23 field blocks on the season.
Rogge will lead her team against Michigan on Friday, May 14 at 2:00 PM MST in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championship Tournament for the first time since 2014.
