SAN FRANCISCO - The Bracket is Set! No. 28 ASU enters the Pac-12 men's tennis championship as the fifth seed and will take on fourth-seeded No. 33 UCLA Saturday April 24 at 3:00 p.m. at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
 
ASU went 14-7 overall in the regular season but just 3-4 in conference play, picking up wins over Oregon, Washington and Utah. The Sun Devils kicked off the year with a 10-match winning streak that features victories over No. 22 Pepperdine, No. 28 Oklahoma and No. 50 Tulsa.
 
ASU's lineup features No. 115 Nathan Ponwith who leads the team with a 12-7 record, and he opened his final season with six-straight singles and doubles victories. Behind him are Andrea Bolla (11-4), Christian Lerby (10-6), and George Stoupe (10-7).
 
UCLA has claimed the conference crown nine times since the yer 2000, most recently  taking it in 2018 and 2016 (USC earned titles in 2017 and 2019). ASU has never beaten the Bruins since reinstatement.

Team seeding is based on won-lost percentages during regular-season Conference play with the initial tiebreaker being the head-to-head matchup winner. The eight teams will compete in a tournament team format to determine the Pac-12 Champion and the automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championships.
 
The men's finals will air live on Pac-12 Network beginning at 3 p.m. PT on Monday, April 26. All televised matches will also be available to stream on the Pac-12 Now app. Scores and updates can be found at pac-12.com/tennischamps.
