TEMPE - No. 23/24 Arizona State (13-5, 2-2 Pac-12) hits the road for a weekend contest against Stanford (4-3, 1-0 Pac-12) this week. The Sun Devils and Cardinal faceoff at 2:00 p.m. MST Friday in one of the final weekends of the regular season. ASU was also scheduled to play California this weekend but that match has been canceled.

ASU enters the contest ranked 23rd in the Oracle/ITA poll and 23th by the Tennis Channel/USTA. Stanford received votes from the latter two organizations for their 5-2 win over Utah and 7-0 shutout of UC Davis.
ASU is coming off back-to-back losses to No. 22 UCLA and No. 11 USC last weekend. The Bruins won 4-3 on Friday and the Trojans followed up with a 6-1 victory on Sunday. No. 122 Tim Ruehl earned ASU's lone point against USC with a 7-6, 6-4 victory at No. 3.
No. 92 Nathan Ponwith and Andrea Bolla lead the squad with 12 and 11 wins respectively, Ponwith is 5-4 in his last 10, and Bolla is 5-3.
No. 95 Arthur Fery leads Stanford with a 6-1 record. He's riding a three-match winning streak heading into Friday.
