Senior Cameron Sisk and freshman Preston Summerhays are both tied for first and the Sun Devils have jumped out to an 11-stroke lead over second-place Auburn after Sunday's first round of the Isleworth Invitational held at Isleworth Country Club (par 72/7,544 yards) in Windmere, FL.
Sisk and Sommerhays both shot 5-under 67, with David Puig also in the top-10 as he is tied for sixth with a 2-under 70.
ASU posted a tournament-best 24 birdies in the first round as it shot 11-under 277, as both Sisk and Summerhays had six. It will compete on Monday and Tuesday with 18 holes each day.
