Many student-athletes studying different majors in double-digit sports make up this year's list of current Sun Devil graduate student-athletes. Below is a list of those athletes with ASU degrees who are competing in the 2020-21 season.

Lara Barbieri, Soccer, BS Exercise and Wellness, 2020
Barbieri made 12 appearances as a Sun Devil since her freshman year in 2017. A Monte Mar, São Paolo, Brazil native, Barbieri planned to graduate from ASU after her final season of soccer in Fall 2020. With the postponement of the the soccer season, Barbieri will play in spring 2021 as a gradaute student.

Taylor Carson, Lacrosse, BS Sociology, 2020
Carson has been a productive part of the Sun Devil attack during her first three seasons in Tempe. She has scored 37 goals and added nine assists, giving her 46 points in 41 career games. Carson has 11 multi-goal games, including a career-best and then a program-record six-goal performance against Presbyterian in 2018. 2020 Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll member and 2019 Pac-12 Academic All-Conference Honorable Mention selection.

Cory Crooks, Wrestling, BA Interdisciplinary Studies (Real Estate/Business), 2020
Before coming to Arizona State, Crooks was the Deer Valley Unified School District Athlete of the Year, 2016 Arizona state champion and finished with a 176-14 record at Boulder Creek High. In the 2019-20 season he appeared in 7 of 17 duals for the Sun Devils and went 2-2 at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing third at the 141 weight class. Crooks also finished fifth at Journeymen Classic (141) in 2019.

Timarcus Davis, Football, BA Interdisciplinary Studies (Psychology/Integrated Health), 2020
A key contributor the the Sun Devil secondary, starting the final three games of the 2020 season at cornerback. Has played in 16 games in two seasons at Arizona State, seeing time on defense and special teams. Developed into an essential part of the punt and kickoff coverage units. Collected 30 total tackles and broke up six passes in his career. Came up with a clutch blocked punt which helped ASU earn the victory over No. 15 Cal back in 2019.

Erik Dickerson, Football, BS Communication, 2020
Earned the starting long snapper job prior to last season, beating out several others in a offseason competition. Established himself as one of the most consistent long snappers in the country during his debut season in 2019 and carried that over into a solid 2020 campaign. Dickerson was recognized by Special Teams University as one of 20 long snappers on the preseason All-American Watch List.

Kindra Hackbarth, Softball, BS Family and Human Development, 2020
Named one of the top-three outfielders in the country ahead of the Spring 2021 season, Hackbarth is looking to pick up right where her shortened 2020 season ended - with a hot bat and elite outtie skills. In 2020, Hackbarth notched six home runs, 11 doubles, 39 hits, and hit for a .433 batting average. Another year with Kindra as the leadoff hitter for the maroon and gold will be oh, so fun.

Maddi Hackbarth, Softball, BA Liberal Studies, 2020
Hackbarth is chasing a program record and with the extra year granted by the NCAA, she'll get another chance at softball's single-season home run record. In her junior season, Maddi sent 19 balls over the fences - coming up just one home run shy to tie the program record. In 2020 she wanted to surpass it. Now, she gets another Hack at it. The California native led the Sun Devil squad in home runs in 2020 with nine through 29 games.

Tyler Johnson, Football, BA Liberal Studies, 2020
The decision to return to Sun Devil Football paid off in a major way for defensive lineman Tyler Johnson, as he enjoyed a breakout junior campaign. Johnson played in all four games a season ago, collecting 16 total tackles along with a team-high 7.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. He also added two fumble recoveries and a deflected pass. Johnson was a nightmare for opposing offenses to block, earning Pac-12 Defensive LIneman of the Week honors thanks to a 4.5 tackle-for-loss & three-sack performance against UCLA. The local product was one of three Sun Devils named to the Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team. In 26 career games, Johnson has compiled 76 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks.

Cortney Jones, Track, BS Sociology, 2020
Pandemic extends Cortney Jones' time to make impact at Arizona State
Cortney Jones, More Than an Athlete

Before coming to Arizona State, Jones ran a 12.72 in the 100m hurdles while competing with Florida State at the 2019 ACC championships. A six-time All-American and 60mH indoor and outdoor record holder at FSU, Jones is considered one of the best hurdlers in the country and hopes to earn a spot with Team USA in 2021. Jones was one of 18 track and field student-athletes to earn a spot on the 2020 All-Academic Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) team after earning a 4.0 GPA. Jones ran in the 2017 and 2018 NCAA Championships and was prepped to compete in the 2020 NCAA Indoor Championships before the meet was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jack Jones, Football, BA Liberal Studies, 2020
Experienced cornerback who returns to ASU for a third season. Recorded 50 tackles, three interceptions, 17 pass deflections, and one forced fumble in 15 career games as a Sun Devil. 2019 Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention selection.

Olive Jones, Soccer, BS Exercise and Wellness, 2020
The Desert Vista High School graduate stayed local and earned her degree from ASU in Dec. 2020. Jones made a huge impact on the team in her freshman season, starting 18 of 19 games and scoring two goals. In her sophomore season, she transitioned from forward to defense and logged minutes in 18 total contests. Jones continued to build on her new role in the back field and registered two goals in her junior campaign - one a game-winning goal.

Remy Martin, Men's Basketball BS Sociology, 2020
Making big buckets since 2017-18, Remy became just the second Sun Devil to earn Associated Press preseason All-American this season. He was the Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year in 2017-18 a second-team All-Pac-12 pick in 2018-19 and a first-team selection in 2019-20.

Cielo Meza, Softball, BA Political Science, 2020
Hardly seen in collegiate sports, Meza will enter her SIXTH year of college softball in 2021 as a graduate student. The redshirt super senior completed her degree in May 2020 and is already working towards becoming a firefighter (read about why she wants to be a first responder). In 2020, Meza led the Sun Devils in the cirlce with 10 wins and a 1.93 ERA through 17 appearances. She threw 91 strikeouts in 74.1 innings pitched and claimed three complete shutouts of the team's 13 shutout wins. She threw her first no-hitter as a Sun Devil (fourth of her career) against Seattle on Feb. 9, 2020.

Nathan Ponwith, Men's Tennis, BA Organizational Leadership (Project Management), 2020
FEATURE: Homecoming Presents Opportunity for Ponwith and Men's Tennis
FEATURE: 'Full circle:' Ponwith thriving for ASU men's tennis in homecoming season

Ponwith elected to take the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA and will return in 2021 as the captain of the Sun Devils. The Scottsdale native sat out the beginning of the 2019-20 season due to injury, but made his season debut against No. 27 Baylor on March 7, playing two matches before the season ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his junior season, Ponwith became part of Arizona State's highest-ranked doubles pair in over 25 years (since 1991) when he and Dominik Kellovsky earned a No. 8 nod in the April 9 edition of the Oracle/ITA ranking. The pair started 2018-19 with three straight victories and ultimautely earned a bid to the NCAA Doubles National Championship.

Kyle Soelle, Football, BA Business (Communication), 2020
Team captain who leads by example on the field and in the classroom. Consistent presence for the Sun Devil defense, improving his skill set each season. Collected 61 total tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception in 29 career games. Local product was a 2020 Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention selection in his first year as a starting linebacker.

Alli Tatnall, Softball, BA Film (Film and Media Production), 2020
The walk-off queen is back! Tatnall graduated with a degree in coming up clutch in big moments - in 2019 she hit a walk-off triple to beat Utah (we were down eight runs at the start of the seventh inning) and a walk-off homer in extra innings to top No. 10 Kentucky in 2020. Opponents know she brings the heat too. Tatnall faced pitchers 60 times and was walked more than anyone else on the team - a monumental 20 free bases in 2020.

Blake Wagoner, Men's Golf, BA Interdisciplinary Studies, 2020
Blake had three top-10 finishes in six appearances in senior year before the coronavirus ended the season. Tied for eighth at the 2019 Players Amateur (July 9-14) held in South Carolina with a 14-under 274 (70-64-71-69) and in 44 collegiate events (135 rounds) he has posted a 72.27 stroke average,  28 rounds in the 60s and 63 rounds at par or better. He earned 2018 and 2019 Pac-12 First-Team All-Academic Selection.

Turner Washington, Track, BS Biological Sciences (Conservation Biology and Ecology), 2020
Turner traded in his cardinal red and navy blue, the official colors of the University of Arizona, for the Maroon and Gold ahead of the 2018-19 season and has quickly made a name for himself in Tempe. In his lone season, Washington won three shot put events, one of which featured the Tucson native hurling the ball 20.43m in last year's NAU Friday Night Duals indoor meet. The effort put him at the top of the NCAA and ranks third in program history. Washington earned 2020 NCAA Indoor All-American honors, finished the year on the MPSF All-Academic team, and picked up Pac-12 spring honor roll honors.
