Douglas Named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the WeekDouglas Named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week
SAN FRANCISCO – Junior center forward Nicole Douglas was named the Pac-12 Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the week after scoring five goals in two games, including a hat trick against New Mexico State in the season opener over the weekend.

In the first conference weekly awards of the season, Douglas represented the Sun Devils. This is the first time an Arizona State player earned the nod for the Pac-12 since Cali Farquharson in November 2015.

Douglas had a stellar opening weekend to her junior campaign. In the first match of the season, ASU defeated UTEP, 3-1, with help from two Douglas goals. In Sunday's match against NMSU, Douglas turned up the heat. She scored three of the four Sun Devil goals in ASU's shutout of the Aggies. The last ASU student-athlete to record a hat trick was Douglas against Central Arkansas on Aug. 25, 2019.

Her five goals pushed her further into the program's top-10 career goals to land at No. 7 with 25 goals.
