TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Volleyball is back on the road this week, traveling for matchups at Oregon State this Thursday and Friday.
 
Sun Devil Outlook
Arizona State (1-5)
  • The Sun Devils are looking to get back in the win column. Despite two five-set matches, ASU has not been able to come up with a victory since the season opener.
  • Sophomore outside hitter Iman Isanovic has been a standout for the Sun Devils. She has 93 kills on the season, a team-high, and is averaging 3.88 kills per set. She has reached double figures in kills in every match this season and has three double-doubles.
  • Pacing the offense has been freshman Ella Snyder. She has 190 assists on the year and four double-doubles under her belt.
  • The leader on defense has been sophomore Annika Larson. She has started every match, four at libero. She has a total of 101 digs this season and has reached double figures in digs in all but one match.
  • In 2019, ASU swept the season series against Oregon State. The Sun Devils have won three of the last four matchups.
Opponent Outlook
Oregon State (1-5)
  • The Beavers are on a three-match losing streak after dropping both at Washington last weekend. The lone win of the season came against USC on January 29. Their win over the Trojans was their first since 2008.
  • Three Beavers are averaging more than two kills per set, led by Kateryna Tkachenko who has 62 total kills. The assists leader is Izzi Szulczewski, who is a freshman and also one of two on the team with 60-plus digs.
  • Libero Grace Massey is currently third in Oregon State's record book for career digs with 1,578 total in her career. She is first on the team in total digs this season with 61.

Both matches are matinee games, with Thursday's match starting at 1 p.m. MST and Friday's beginning at noon MST. The matchups will be available to watch on the OSU Live Stream.
