TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State beach volleyball has added graduate transfer Aleksandra Sochacka to the 2021 roster, coming to ASU from American University's indoor volleyball team.

Sochacka was an outside hitter on American's indoor volleyball team from 2016-19. She helped her team to three Patriot League championship titles and played a big role in the team in the last three seasons. In 2019, she earned a career-high 20 kills. Her career high in digs is 14.

While pursuing a master's in business analytics, the 6-0 native of Jaworzno, Poland will join the Sand Devils in 2021. Her parents are Wieslaw and Justyna, and she has two brothers, a twin named Bartek and an older brother named Sebastian.
