TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil men's tennis dropped another tough match Saturday, falling to No. 27 Baylor, 6-1, at Whiteman Tennis Center.

The matinee contest against the Bears was the sixth match against a top-30 ranked team this season, and that continues into Sunday as the Sun Devils (4-6) host the 2018 NCAA Champions and 2019 national runner-up in No. 14 Wake Forest.

While Baylor captured the doubles point with 6-3 and 6-1 wins on courts two and three, respectively, a back-and-forth affair ended on court one between No. 21 Tim Ruehl and Andrea Bolla and No. 11 Sven Lah and Constantin Frantzen at 4-4.

The Bears featured three ranked players in singles on courts 1, 2 and 4 – all within the top-90 and two in the top-60. The Devils forced deciding third sets on courts 3-5, but Baylor handled business on courts 6, 2 and 1 in that order to clinch the match, 4-0.

Matches were played out on courts 4, 5 and 3 with Tom LeBlanc locking up ASU's only point on court 5, 2-6, 7-6, 1-0.

The Devils return to action Sunday with their sixth match-up against a top-20 opponent as they host the Demon Deacons at 1 p.m. at Whiteman Tennis Center. The match can be streamed here.
