SAN FRANCISCO – Fifth-year senior Morgan Wilson was named the Pac-12 Coaches' Choice of the Week after a career performance in the win over No. 10 Cal last Saturday.

This is the first coaches' choice honor for a Gym Devil, with the award being a new addition to the Pac-12 this season. It is the first weekly award for Wilson and the first for ASU since Justine Callis was named the Pac-12 Specialist of the Week last season on January 23.

Wilson competed in the all-around and on floor for the first time since 2016. She scored career highs in both with a 39.175 and 9.800, respectively. Additionally, she tied her career high on bars with a 9.850. She also chipped in a 9.800 on vault and 9.725 on beam.

Last Saturday against No. 10 Cal, ASU scored a 196.300 to pull off the upset. That was the highest team score of the season and the first top-10 win since 2014. Before that meet, the Gym Devils had only surpassed 49.000 in a rotation one time. In the win, they scored a 49.000-plus on vault, bars and floor, all events Wilson contributed to.
