SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Sun Devil Softball was selected to finish fourth in the Pac-12 Preseason Coaches Poll, the conference released on Thursday.
Head coach Trisha Ford's team acquired 49 points from fellow Pac-12 coaches in the preseason poll.
The Washington Huskies and UCLA Bruins, voted as first and fourth in the NFCA Top 25 earlier this week, rank first and second, according to the 'conference of champions' coaches. Arizona stole the No. 3 rank in the poll.
Oregon ranks fifth, followed by No. 6 Stanford and No. 7 Oregon State. California and Utah tied for eighth.
The team kicks off the season as host of the Kajikawa Classic on Feb. 7-10 against opponents No. 14 Northwestern, No. 12 Tennessee, Portland State, Kansas, Western Michigan, and Seattle. Purchase tickets here!
