TEMPE, Ariz. – Four Sun Devil Hockey members were named Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholars, announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association Tuesday.
Defensemen Jarrod Gourley, Josh Maniscalco, Jack Judson and Jacob Wilson all earned honors by attaining a 3.75 GPA for the fall semester and participating in at least 40% of ASU's games. It is Wilson's third-straight year earning the scholastic honor, while Gourley has now been recognized for the second-straight season.
"We're very proud of these four guys for excelling both on and off the ice as Sun Devils," said head coach Greg Powers. "Our team prides itself on our team GPA and we have goals set each year as a program, and these four guys continue to lead the way for us."
As a team, Sun Devil Hockey recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.29 in 2019-20.
Due to the effects of COVID-19 on actual grades in the spring, the AHCA adopted revised criteria for this year's honorees.
