TEMPE, Ariz. – After the best team performance since 2006, Arizona State gymnastics is hitting the road for another Pac-12 matchup, taking on Stanford on Monday, March 2.

Arizona State (5-6-1) scored a 196.875 last weekend to tie with No. 13 Washington. That team total is the 18th best score in program history. The Sun Devils earned season-high event totals on in all four rotations against the Dawgs. On vault, bars and beam, no score below a 9.800 needed to be counted.

Multiple Gym Devils had stellar performances last week. Freshman Hannah Scharf was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after earning career highs on bars (9.800), beam (9.850) and in the all-around (39.350). Additionally, she did not score below a 9.800 in any event, helping her secure a share of the all-around title with fellow ASU freshman Gracie Reeves. Junior Cairo Leonard-Baker had a spectacular meet against UW, scoring a 9.900 or better in all three events she competed: vault (9.900), bars (9.950) and floor (9.900). All three of those numbers are season highs for her.

Vault has been a bright spot for Arizona State. The team has scored a 49.000 or better in the last four meets, leading up to a season-high 49.275 last week. That event total was the highest of any event score this year. On Road to Nationals, the Sun Devils have been ranked in the top 25 on vault for the last three weeks. They are currently No. 21 in the nation in that apparatus.

Monday's meet will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Plus Live Stream at 8 p.m. MST. Fans can follow along there or on Twitter, @SunDevilGym.
