INDIANAPOLIS – Arizona State Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson will receive the Eugene E. Parker Award for Lifetime Service to the agent industry from the 2020 TEST Football ITL Combine Seminar on Wednesday, February 26.
Anderson had an illustrious career as an agent. Some of his former coaching clients are Herm Edwards (current ASU head football coach), Marvin Lewis (current ASU co-defensive coordinator), Tony Dungy, Brian Billick, Dennis Green and Tyrone Willingham. On the players side, Lawyer Milloy, Bob Whitfield and many others were impacted by Anderson's guidance. Anderson is one of just a handful of people to have served as an AD, agent, club executive and league executive.
Many other NFL awards will also be presented at the seminar. The San Francisco 49ers will receive the Best NFL Draft Award for 2019. Bears Executive Scout Jeff Shiver will be given the inaugural C.O. Brocato Memorial Award for Distinguished Service to Scouting. Additionally, the first Mock Draft Award for 2019 will go to Ben Standig of The Athletic.
Since 2010, Inside the League has hosted this annual seminar in Indianapolis. The ceremony will take place on February 26 at 7 p.m. ET in Indiana. League owner Neil Stratton will be presenting the awards.
